How to remove microsoft Office 2011 completly from Mac

Step 1

Quit all applications.

Step 2 (Remove all microsoft office 2011 Folders)

Go to Finder > then applications > Select Microsoft Office 2011 and drag the entire folder to trash.

Step 3 (Remove the office preferences)

Go to Finder> GO> Desktop > Library > Preferences.

Find all files begin with “com.microsoft”. Drag these files to the trash.After htta Empty Trash.

Step 4 (Remove com.microsoft.office.licensing.helper.plist file)

Go to finder > Click on useraccount > Library > Launchdaemons >

Select the file com.microsoft.offfice.licensing.plist and move it to trash.

Step 5 (Remove com.microsoft.office.licensing.helper file)

Go to finder > Click on useraccount > Library > PrivilegedHelpertools.

Select com.microsoft.office.licensing.helper and move it to trash.

Step 6 (Remove the license files)

Go to finder > Click on useraccount > Preferences.

Select com.microsoft.com.office.licensing.plist or com.microsoft.licensing.plist and move to trash.

Step 7 (Remove the Microsoft folder from Application Support in the HD Library)

Go to finder > Click on useraccount > Library > Application Support.

Locate te Microsoft folder and Drag to trash.

Step 8 (Remove Receipts)

Go to finder > Click on useraccount > Library > Receipts

Move all files starting with Office2011_ to the trash

(if you are using snow leopard,please follow the additional steps

Go to finder > Go > Go to folder >

Type “/private/var/db/receipts ” drag to the trash all receipts start with “com.microsoft.office”.)

Step 9 (Remove the Microsoft folder from Application Support in the Home User Library)

Go to finder > Username > Libraary > Open application support and move the microsoft folder to the trash.

Step 10 (Remove Microsoft Fonts)

Go to finder > Useraccount > Library > Fonts (Trash microsoft folder to trash)
