Google Docs as a Network Drive in your PC

google docs , the ever popular office app cloud , is for sure got a neat interface this time, but frequent access via a browser is not that tasty in all time.,

when flexibility matters , we have to think of a better accessing mechanism, the best way to access files is through Windows Explorer,

Here is a software that configure google docs to a drive and all our documents reside in google doc can be managed as local files , in Windows Explorer

Gladinet is an application that lets us to map major cloud services to our local computer as drives, here i am taking google docs as the cloud service

after installation there will be a Network drive , for mapping docs ( see mine is to Z:)

for this first doenload and install Gladinet from here

Install the app and Run , intermediate it ll ask for mounting cloud service

Select Google Docs Here, Press Next and give your google account details

Finish the wizard

Now goto My computer and open the newly created Drive

Manage all your docs from the drive

Alternately heard google is about to release its new service likely named googe Drive where we can save and sychronize files ( like dropbox, box.net). So we can use drive more than docs.
