Excel is the widely used spreadsheet standard with set of built in addins, but sometimes its not sufficent to run with built in add ins,

Creating an excel Add in ( user defined) trobled me a lot , but now with to VB complete reference it turned in to a much easy task

Try the simple step to create your own add function

Open Excel and goto Tools >> Macro >> Visual Basic Editor

in the coming window click on insert module

Function add(x As Integer, y As Integer)
add = x + y
End Function

Now return to excel Sheet ( Alt + Q) File >> Close and Return to Microsoft Excel

Test add in

Column A1=1

B1=2

C=Add(A1,B1)=3

To Export Add in

save bool as .xla

Image

Later we can add this add in on different machine by browsing this .xla file
